The family of Ukrainian singer Jamala, whose real name is Susanna Jamaladinova, tried to sell their house in the coastal village of Malorechenskoye, located between the resorts of Alushta and Sudak in Crimea, for ₽19 million. The property has been abandoned for several years.
An additional four-room guest house belonging to the family is located in the nearby village of Solnechnogorskoye. No one lives in this house either, and the renovation work started in it remains unfinished. According to a local resident who watches over the real estate, Jamala's parents have been living in Turkey since the beginning of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine.
Journalists from a TV channel posing as potential buyers contacted Jamala's father by phone and found out that he was willing to sell the house in Malorechenskoye for ₽19 million. It is worth noting that the real estate prices in this resort village in Crimea are similar to those in Moscow. However, it will no longer be possible for the Jamaladinov family to sell any of their Crimean properties. In June of this year, the State Council of Crimea passed a law prohibiting the sale of real estate owned by supporters of the current Kiev government, including Jamala's property, along with property belonging to 109 other individuals close to President Volodymyr Zelensky's regime.
Overall, since the autumn of 2022, the budget of the republic has already received proceeds from the sale of assets of supporters of the current Kiev government.
