The world of circus arts has lost one of its brightest stars. Vitaly Vorobyev, a celebrated Russian circus performer and People's Artist of Russia, passed away at the age of 79 after a prolonged illness. His death has left a void in the hearts of colleagues and fans alike.
Askol'd Zapashny, a prominent figure in modern circus arts, shared his thoughts on Vorobyev's passing. He recalled Vorobyev as a confident and dedicated artist who devoted his entire life to the circus. "He served as the most devoted circus artist one could imagine. I was fortunate to have worked with him," Zapashny said.
Zapashny also highlighted one of Vorobyev's most iconic performances, the "Russian Swing," which earned acclaim at the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival. "He had numerous awards and was truly a master of his craft," Zapashny added.
